This space exists for one purpose: to help us see clearly where the cause of free consciences is vulnerable — and to begin doing something about it.

Here you’ll find posts that engage history, psychology, political theory, economics, and investigative journalism — but always with the understanding that the deepest stakes are spiritual. This is a place where religion is unapologetically brought to bear on what we measure, what we diagnose, and what we prescribe. Because our choices are not just civic or social — they are moral.

One of the defining vulnerabilities of our time is our spiritual and moral indifference to democracy itself — and to the freedom of conscience it protects.

Democracy secures choices. And choice is no small matter. Scripture insists that we are moral agents, free to choose whom we will serve (Joshua 24:15). To abdicate that responsibility is to squander the most sacred, hard-won freedom we have: to live as free moral agents, accountable before God.

Sometimes exercising that freedom means exposing deceit. Sometimes it means defending virtue, even when unpopular. It always means acting — because conscience demands it.

Choice-with-a-capital-C is a profound, cosmic cause.
